New Volunteer Orientation
We ask that volunteers assisting on a year-round basis attend a new volunteer orientation so we can help you become more familiar with all that Komen Columbus does on a local, as well as national level. Orientations are held on a quarterly basis at our office in Westerville.
Please contact Natalie Guagenti if you are interested in attending the next orientation.
Breast Cancer 101
Breast Cancer 101 classes are also offered on a quarterly basis to those volunteers who are interested in becoming a Komen Ambassador, helping to share basic breast health messages to those in our community at various health fairs and events throughout the year.
Please contact us if you’re interested in attending the next Breast Cancer 101 session.
Race Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers play a vital role in the Komen Columbus Race for the Cure. Their passion and commitment is what makes our race a success and today the largest Race for the Cure in the country!
As you can imagine, it takes hundreds of volunteers the week before and on race day to ensure that we provide the best experience possible to our participants. That’s why we need YOU!
All Race Volunteer Opportunities will be posted online in February 2015.
If you are interested in taking on a leadership role for the race, please complete the volunteer application above.
