Community Profile

The Request for Application (RFA) is built around findings from the Community Profile. Komen Columbus is currently conducting the 2015 Community Profile. The findings of this needs assessment will inform the grant priorities of the 2015-2016 grant cycle on an ongoing basis. As sections of the 2015 Community Profile are completed, they will be made available below. Preliminary findings of the 2015 profile will outline the upcoming 2015-2016 Community Grant and Small Grant RFAs.

Funding Priorities

The findings from the 2011 Komen Columbus Community Profile revealed that Franklin, Lawrence, Fayette and Licking had the highest needs within our service area and established the following priorities:

Priority 1: Increase and improve delivery of early detection services, including (re)screening and diagnostics that will improve mortality rates.

Priority 2: Improve survivorship support that is evidence-based and/or represents an innovative approach.
