Komen Columbus Survivor/Patient Empower Workshops

Thank you for your interest in our survivor/patient empower workshops. Our goal is to bring you opportunities to get away from life, cancer, whatever may be pulling you down in your survivorship journey and take time for yourself. During these workshops you will laugh, smile, relax and truly let everything else slip away. Our goal is to empower you and to empower one another! We will be working on bringing different workshops throughout the year. Please check back in to see when the next workshop is, and we hope you can make it!

Please see below for more information. We hope to meet you at one of our next workshops!

Previous workshops hosted in 2019 are below!

Let’s Chalk it Up!!

On March 28th we hosted our first empowered workshop. We partnered with NatterDoodle to host a Hand Lettering Chalkboard Workshop. This opportunity was better than we expected. During our workshop Natalie guided the group through the process of hand lettering craft chalkboard for spring. We used one of Natalie’s signature fun and festive designs, which were perfect ushering into spring! Please see photos below our NatterDoodle Workshop. Keep an eye for more to come!

Lights and Flights!!

On Thursday August 1, 2019 we partnered with The Candle Lan and Spagio Wine Lounge to host an empower workshop. Survivors and patients created their own unique 8oz natural soy-wax candle and enjoy a flight of wine, 3 samples. We had a great time connecting with individuals in the breast cancer community and enjoyed watching everyone connect.  We loved partnering with businesses who give back to the community!
